Review : Amazing Views, Lavish Rooftop Buffet For INR 500 | Ebony Restaurant

For a hearty, fulfilling meal in the form of a lavish buffet, and a view that is quite possibly unmatched in the whole city of Bengaluru, head to Ebony restaurant, right at the top of Barton Centre.

The Target audience:

Be it a family lunch, a small get-together, a kitty party, or even a cosy date, if you’re looking for a great meal with a great value for money  ~INR 455 from Monday to Thursday and INR 495 Friday to Sunday , Ebony restaurant should be right there at the top of your go-to list.

What’s The Ambience Like?

Set atop the iconic Barton Centre on MG Road, Ebony is the textbook old-school fine dine restaurant from years past with quite possibly the best views of the Central Business District skyline of the city. And while you’re smack in the city center, it feels more like you’re up on cloud nine surrounded by blissful greenery. If you’re not up for it, there’s indoor seating as well, but the terrace area is THE place to be to catch the refreshing breeze.

If you’re going Ebony restaurant for lunch, pick the buffet as that’s the best option. There are a great many dishes to choose from — ranging from Indian, Chinese, Thai to a smattering of European as well. Biryani {vegetarian and otherwise} is known to be good, as is the dal makhani. Don’t forget to hit up the chaat counter but don’t fill up on them seeing as they’re really good. They have a large selection of desserts too.

How Was the Experience?

I really enjoy going to this restaurant. It is placed prominently in almost every list that ranks the best buffets in the city of Bengaluru. I love the main course selections on offer, and as a matter of fact, I think the whole menu is perfectly done. Plus, a restaurant that offers you a beautiful view and insight of the busy city we all love is something that can turn a cynic into a patron.
